With 123,000 libraries nationwide librarians continue to make a difference in the lives of millions everyday. On hand to help us find all the things we need we think it's safe to say our adventures in libraryland wouldn't be nearly as efficient without them (Let's be honest the Dewey Decimal System, our proprietary system of library classification, attempts to organize all knowledge into ten main classes. The ten main classes are each further subdivided into ten divisions, and each division into ten sections, giving ten main classes, 100 divisions and 1000 sections. Who has the time to go through all that?!).

Well now is the chance to tell the world how amazing your librarian is! Take a moment to tell The American Library Association why they should shine the spotlight on a librarian at your public, school, college or university library. Up to ten librarians will be honored at an awards ceremony hosted by the New York Times.

Nominations close October 9th!

Owned and operated by husband and wife team and Santa Monica natives Zoe Nathan and Josh Loeb, everything served at Huckleberry is made on site using the best quality ingredients and seasonal farmers market finds. But consider yourself warned, like the website says, the menu changes with the weather and the baker's whims!
